Sample Adventure Itinerary

A SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1 - From the airport you will take a cab to the Conch Inn Marina, where you will be met by your Captain and First Mate. Boarding time is upon your arrival.
Once aboard, after stowing your gear, you will be fitted with snorkel equipment and given a briefing, explaining the vessel systems and safety. Depending on your arrival time, we will get underway for a sail of approx 1 -2 hours to our first fabulous anchorage.
Dinner will be prepared and served by the Captain and First Mate. This will allow for the crew to know how to accomplish this for their galley detail. All meals are enjoyed as a crew.
Relax on deck or in the cockpit and take in the amazing night sky here in the Bahamas. Turn in for a restful night sleep while listening to the gentle sounds of the sea.

Days 2-5 -   Arise by 7:00AM stow your gear and prepare breakfast. Each morning the Captain will discuss the upcoming day with the crew and finalize the days itinerary together. After duties have been completed we will either set sail for our next destination or the crew will have shore leave where we are. Always weather, winds, seas, and tides dictate the destination and when.
Each day you will sail, swim, snorkel, fish, and explore a different one of these beautiful Out Islands. Although some snorkeling will be from the vessel, most is just feet off the beaches. Any selected optional side trips will be included in our itinerary. You will have the opportunity to go to the top of the Hope Town Lighthouse on Elbow Cay. This is the last of it's kind in the world. Each cay has its own unique charm and points of interest. The anchorages and harbours provide protection and peaceful settings for evenings and nights aboard.

Day 6 - We will get underway for our return to Marsh Harbour in the morning, being in dock at the Conch Inn Marina for your final night aboard. Enjoy the marina facilities and visit the shops nearby as you walk along the harbour.

Day 7 - After a continental type breakfast the crew will be briefed on the final cleaning of the vessel. After the crew has completed the task to the satisfaction of the Crew Chief, he will notify the Captain that the crew is ready for final inspection. A crew commendation ceremony will conclude our adventure week together. Departure from s/v Natures Way is at 11:00 AM on your final day.
